Antique ornate wooden picture frame featuring raised applied floral and botanical decorations with a beaded inner border. Beautiful old construction and patina throughout.The frame measures approximately 10 inches tall and roughly 8 inches wide at its widest point, based on the ruler photos. It retains its glass, backing board and hanging wire.Construction details on the reverse include older-style slotted screws and nails. The frame shows considerable age and appears consistent with a late Victorian/early 20th-century piece, although the exact age and maker are unknown.There are cracks in portions of the applied floral decoration, and some areas appear to have been previously repaired or stabilized. Additional wear, scratches, discoloration and aging are present throughout.
