Antique Vintage Cast Iron Clogs Pair Primitive Shoe Forms Rustic Garden Decor For Sale

RARE ANTIQUE / VINTAGE PAIR OF CAST IRON CLOGS – PRIMITIVE RUSTIC DECOROffered here is a very unusual matching pair of heavy cast iron clogs/shoe forms with an incredible naturally aged, rusty primitive patina. These are not wearable shoes. They are solid cast iron and appear to have been made as decorative/functional shoe forms or display pieces. Their exact original purpose and age are unknown, making them an especially interesting piece for collectors of antique iron, primitive antiques, folk art, cobbler/shoemaker items, or unusual Americana. The pair has a wonderful original aged surface with heavy oxidation, darkened interior surfaces, old wear and natural rust patina throughout. I have intentionally not refinished or aggressively cleaned them, preserving their aged appearance. They are approximately the size of a women’s US size 6 shoe, although they are cast iron and were obviously never intended to be worn.Condition:
Found/untouched antique condition. Significant natural rust, oxidation, discoloration, surface wear and imperfections consistent with age and use. Please carefully examine all photographs, as the pictures are an important part of the description.
