The four long-handled spoons have squared, deep bowls designed to reach easily into cans, jars, and other tall containers. Included sizes are:
- 1 tablespoon
- 1 teaspoon
- 1/2 teaspoon
- 1/4 teaspoon
Each spoon is individually marked with its capacity and “STAINLESS.” The original metal storage rack is also present and marked “Foley MPLS Stainless.” The rack could be mounted to wood or sheet metal, with the mounting directions printed on the reverse.
The terrific period packaging features Foley’s script logo, bold black-and-yellow graphics, a colorful pansy illustration, and advertisements for other Foley kitchen products—including its food mill, covered pie pans, sifters, pastry frame, and ball-bearing rolling pin.
This appears to be unused old store stock, as the spoons remain attached to the original card. It is much harder to find this set complete with all four spoons, the mounting rack, and its elaborate foldout retail packaging. A fabulous display piece for a vintage kitchen, mid-century cookware collection, or Foley advertising collection.
Condition
The cardboard display has survived remarkably well but shows expected age and handling wear, including creases, edge wear, small tears, staple holes, scuffing, and some splitting around the upper hanging hole. The foldout panels and printed mounting directions remain present and readable. Please examine all photographs closely.
