Antique Vtg Plains American Indian War Dance Ceremonial Horn Rattle 1950s Estate For Sale

Fine Lakota American Indian Horn Club Rattle Ceremonial Dance item. Collected by former serious collector of Sioux/Lakota American Indian items. From his personal collection - a favorite. Measures 3 1/2\" wide, 15\" top of rattle club down to bottom of handle. Leather strips securely wrapped around all joints. Handle attched through the center of the horn. There are (2) spots where feathers were attached at one point in time. However, now only a small tufts can be seen. The horn is from steer. Quiet sound of small beads when you shake.Purchased years ago in Rapid City South Dakota from a pawn shop. The collector held this club/rattle in a curio cabinet out of sun, no pets, no smoking home.
