Very good antique condition with light wearconsistent with age. The hand-painted decoration remains attractive, and thebrass mount retains a beautiful antique patina. The hinge functions properly,and the lid opens and closes as intended.
The original interior lining has been removed,leaving the interior glass clean and ready for use or display. I do not observeany cracks, chips, or repairs in the glass. There are minor surface marks andage-related wear typical of a piece of this period.
