Antique automobile kerosene cowl lamps, square side lamps RH LH PAIR converted For Sale

***converted to corded electric lamps with a plug***

I believe these were previously converted and used for outdoor lighting. 

I removed an overspray layer of clear coat or tint from the glass that was likely meant for only the metal with intentions to protect the finish from weather conditions. This is only a suspicion as I do not know the prior history of these lamps.  Most of the metal housing appears to be finished in a brass tone. Apart from the mounting bracket, I do not know the original appearance and how much of the metal is actually brass.

Both have a faceted red glass lens - one is damaged and would need replaced. The remaining half piece sits loosely for photos and fragments rattle in between layers of the metal walls.

No cracks in the beveled glass panels. Both have all glass panels still intact. The glass is clear with the exception of scratches, scuffs, and a small nick in the corner of one panel.

There are minor cracks in the metal housing in various places and one more apparent crack. Both have a bit of white paint splatter.

All of these imperfections will be pictured.

Currently, as electric lamps, they are both in working condition. 

Finding hardware to convert them back to Kerosene would be much easier than finding this model as a pair.  

Used on automobile manufacturers like Seldon, but I don\'t believe this model was used on any Ford model T\'s.
