Antique burled elm exotic liquor cabinet box tantalus victorian 19th gilt tray For Sale

what a superb cabinet ! I believe even though this looks like Birdseye maple, its actually a European wood called burled elm which is considered rather exotic and was used on better quality furniture in the 19th century , this cabinet is probably from the mid to late 1800s , the wood choice is spectacular to say the least ! this is decorated with tin or metal work as well, from what I can tell the only loss is on the top of one of the buckles there is a piece that has been missing for some time shown picture number 3 down by my logo bottom right corner , the tray has some sagging in the center and veneer loss around the edge, the tray with the gilt bronzed metal is much nicer then most however, no bottles with this , and there is no key comes as shown 14x11x9 exceptional quality for sure !
