This listing is for an Old Vintage c. 1892 19th Century English Victorian Measham Pottery Barge Ware Very Large 12.5" T x 13" L Ceramic Tea Pot. The plaque reads "THOMAS MYATT TITTENSOR 1892" (photo 7). Applied pheasants and flowers decorate the pot over a glossy brown Rockingham glaze. Small figural teapot lid finial.
It is in great condition overall. The big teapot itself is excellent with only one small flake to sawtooth rim of pot (photo 21). All other rims, edges, handle, and spout look perfect. The lid finial "little teapot" spout was broken and repaired but is barely noticeable (photos 22 and 23). Small flake to the tip of lid finial spout (photo 24). Please view the photos carefully as they are my main description. *(White spots in pictures are glare / lighting from photos and not actually on the item).
It is very big, heavy, and fragile weighing 6.1 lbs before packing and will be securely packaged and double boxed. *(I have a UPS shipping option listed along with USPS. UPS is usually the cheapest for big and heavy packages. So if the shipping price seems too high just send me your zip code and I will take a look).
It measures 12 1/2" tall to top of lid finial, about 13" handle to spout, 8 3/4" tall to rim, 8 1/2" at widest part of body, 5 3/4" across top rim, and 5 3/4" at the base.
