Artist Signed Handmade Borosilicate Glass Sherlock Opal Iridescent Large/6-7" For Sale

Beautiful handmade artisan borosilicate glass Sherlock, purchased directly from the artist. Brand new and unused.This is a substantial multi-section piece measuring approximately 6–7 inches long, with a thick, low-profile Sherlock design and detailed glasswork throughout.
The piece features an iridescent cosmic-neon and metallic/sparkly earth-tone color palette that shifts in appearance depending on the lighting and background. The stem incorporates custom inside-out crushed Alien Tech, along with Slyme and Green Stardust cane work through the bend. The bowl/head features a detailed metallic silvery-gold rainbow wrap-and-rake pattern.The colors and patterns really come alive under different lighting. In direct sunlight, you can see blues, greens, golds, oranges and other colors that aren't nearly as noticeable under normal indoor lighting.It also features accent marbles, including an opal marble accent, which complement the design and help the piece rest securely. The artist uses high-end, first-quality glass colors, and there is a considerable amount of detailed preparation and craftsmanship involved in creating the different sections.Artist signed “SJ26” and dated discreetly on the bottom in titanium pen.Reason for selling: This was actually my second order of this piece, intended as a sister piece to the original one the artist made for me. For this one, I asked to customize only the bowl portion and chose some of those design elements myself. The craftsmanship came out beautiful, but after having both pieces in hand, I realized I personally prefer the artist's original design and decided to keep that one.
