This striking Egyptian Bastet Cat Statue presents the sacred feline in the elegant seated posture that became one of the most recognizable forms of cat imagery associated with ancient Egypt.
The figure has a tall, slender silhouette with long upright ears, an elongated neck, carefully defined facial features, extended front legs, and a long tail modeled alongside the body.
One of the most distinctive features is the elaborate broad ceremonial collar surrounding the neck. The collar displays multiple geometric and radiating decorative elements and supports a prominent circular chest medallion decorated with Egyptian-inspired symbolism.
