A gorgeous and highly distinctive 6-piece lot of authentic antique 19th century Venetian glass beads, featuring rich green polygonal glass with intricate blue-and-white floral/star-like murrine details.
These unusual beads showcase a beautiful chevron-style core and Millefiori-inspired floral construction, with individual flower canes incorporated into the glass. Each floral cane features a distinctive hollow-tube center, which has naturally accumulated dark patina, grit and sediment over the many decades since these beads were made.
The combination of the vivid green glass, blue-and-white floral elements and naturally aged interiors creates an especially beautiful contrast.
Antique & Untouched
These beads were discovered tucked inside a multicultural vintage estate collection and are being offered in their 100% untouched, uncleaned condition.
The accumulated material within the hollow floral centers has not been cleaned out or artificially aged. It is part of what makes these beads so visually interesting and provides an honest glimpse into their long history.
