Authentic Antique H. & J. W. King Straight Razor – Circa 1870s
Offered for sale is an authentic 19th-century H. & J. W. King straight razor, a piece of shaving history. The tang is marked:

H. & J. W. King was a respected New York importer of fine cutlery during the mid-to-late 1800s. Many of their straight razors were hand-forged and hand-finished by skilled craftsmen in Sheffield, England, before being imported and sold through their New York business.
This razor displays patina and age-related wear consistent with over 150 years of history. Razor was purchased as seen in the pictures and it appears to function well.
