Excellent/mint condition with no apparent wear present

My (late) uncle would fly to Hawaii for business several times a year all throughout the late 1960s - early 80’s. He would always return with a variety of these handcrafted puka and other shell necklaces, most of which were never worn but displayed decoratively.
Hence their excellent condition.
