MUSIC HALL AUTOGRAPH ALBUM + OTHER
Description:
I’m selling a really interesting Edwardian autograph album dating to around 1908–1912, filled with a good number of genuine music hall signatures from the period.
It includes many well-known names including George Robey, Marie Lloyd and Alice Lloyd, along with Little Tich, Gertie Gitana, Nat Clifford and Nellie Wallace, plus many others (see full list below).
The album itself is leather bound. The leather binding is beginning to come away slightly at the spine, as shown in the photographs, but the pages themselves remain intact and securely held together.
Also included is a second small leather-bound autograph / notebook from the same owner. This one has earlier entries going back to 1899 and includes handwritten poems, inscriptions, pressed flowers and references to travel, including a journey out towards India (Colombo, Calcutta etc.). It adds a nice bit of background and makes the books feel more personal rather than just a loose collection.

Condition:
Both books are in good condition for their age. There is wear to the leather, marks and general handling throughout (please see earlier notes regarding the autograph album).
