Antique three-piece Limoges porcelain tea service attributed to Bernardaud & Co. The set is estimated to date from the early 20th century, circa 1900-1920.
Set includes:
• Lidded teapot
• Lidded sugar bowl
• Creamer or milk pitcher
Features
Each piece has a soft powder-blue ground with blue-and-white floral decoration. Gold accents appear on the rims, spouts, handles and sculptural vine- or branch-form details. The curved handles and looped finials contribute to the set's Art Nouveau appearance.
Markings
Each principal piece bears a green "B & Co. Limoges France" backstamp.
Condition
Observed wear includes rubbing and losses to the gold decoration, light staining or discoloration, surface marks and wear around the foot rims. These are visible age-related condition issues consistent with antique use and handling.
The set is sold as one three-piece service. Each piece will be individually wrapped, double-boxed and insured for shipment.
