The knife comes with a black pouch that you can tie to protect, keep clean, and not lose your knife. Looking at the pictures, look at the stainless bolster and you'll see a stud/flipper which is for assisted opening. There is also a nail pull in the blade to open it. Both scales are Stag-Bone that look great and are cut and smoothed, polished for an exact fit, and both are just over 1/8" thick. They are fastened on with two star screws on each side, and on the back is a pocket clip. The Blade is D2 Tool Steel, a top alloy in the cutlery industry. You will see this alloy on the better-made knives today. It's very sharp and has a mirror finish, and the Rockwell Hardness of D2 is 58-61.We will have more.
