Here is a late 1800's/early 1900's pre-prohibition saloon chair from the Blatz Brewing Co of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The chair measures 38 3/4” tall by 19” deep by 16 3/4” wide and the seat is 15 1/4” inches deep. The chair weighs 11 lbs.
It has the Blatz VB logo pressed into the backing.
Condition:
This chair is in original condition with wear from age and use. The Blatz logo has darkened and the original finish has some craquelure across the surface. There rub marks, scratches and finish wear consistent with age and use. Structurally solid with no loose parts or repairs. This chair is an original remnant from the early brewery tavern era in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
