This lot has a scarce trading card of JAMES J. JEFFRIES. This boxing card was produced by LEAF GUM INC. in 1948. The card is in great shape EX/MT: sharp corners with no blemishes (see photo). Won the championship in 1899 and then retired in 1905. 5 years later he made a comeback against JACK JOHNSON and was knocked out after 15 rounds- the only loss in his career. SHIPPING is $6.00.
