Beautiful 1939 USMC China Marine Athletic Award Medal-Fabulous Hand Engraved For Sale

Offered is a beautiful hand-engraved USMC China Marine 1939 Athletic Medal awarded to Sgt. Donald Beeson who served with Co. F., 4th Marines in Shanghai. The obverse of the medal has a beautifully engraved image of the Auditorium (Site of many athletic events) in Shanghai, China. The reverse is engraved on 6 lines: "To/Don Beeson/From/The Auditorium/Shanghai/July 1939." The medal is a true work of art and required a very skilled engraver.
