Beautiful VintageCandy Tin, Mid Century, Ornate Pink & White Design
This is oneof the prettiest mid century tins there is, a personal favorite of mine! Thissmall tin is a dreamy confection in pink, ornately done with floral motifs andscrolls. Issued by Murray-Allen, likely in the 1950s or 1960s. Charming handleand knobbed lid. Lid lifts off. About 3.5” in diameter at very bottom, by 4.75”tall, excluding handle and knob.
CONDITION:
Some smallareas of wear, small scratches and scuffs, handling marks and normal vintagesoiling, some minor dents/dings, possibly some minor early rust, etc.
·Lidis a bit scratched up, these are mostly very tiny scratches and more noticeableup close. But lid looks a little more worn than base.
·Somedenting on the knob, it’s a little “off.”
·Notmuch wear on the base and handle not terribly worn either.
·Thehandle and artwork on base don’t line up perfectly, see this a lot on thesesmaller sized handled tins.
·Somedarkening patina inside, possibly some minor rust.
·Darkeningpatina on bottom.
·Handleand knob well attached, handle moves freely.
·Opens/closeseasily; lid fits loosely, will fall off if tin held upside down.
The tin isempty.
No longer forfood use. Any props not included.
