Description Five Piece Beswick England Pottery Merry Wives Of Windsor7 7/8" Pitcher & Mugs 1948-1972
PIECES TO INCLUDE:
1 Pitcher measures- 7 7/8" High x 7 1/4" handle to spout,
4 Mugs measuring- 4 1/8" High x 3 1/8" Wide rim to rim.These are in Excellent Condition with No Chips No Cracks. NOTE: there is some light, natural crazing. Very Nice Beswick PotteryPitcher with Mugs. These are decorated with the 'Merry Wives of Windsor' pattern done mostly in shades of brown. The pitcherscene shows a man and young boy in front of a largeEnglish style building. The mugs show a man in green standingin what appears tobe a tavern. On the underside is the BeswickEngland porcelain impression mark used for this pattern from 1948 to 1972.I have provided a lot of pictures to best describe the condition of this pitcher and mugs set.
