Between the Acts Little Cigars Tin with Original Paper Inserts c. 1910s For Sale

A premier addition for serious tobacco collectors, this antique Between the Acts Little Cigars pocket tin comes complete with its elusive original paper inserts. Originally created by Thos. H. Hall and later produced by the P. Lorillard Company at Factory No. 17 in Virginia, this early 20th-century lithographed tin held 10 small cigars. While the tin itself is a great piece of antique advertising, this specimen features both of its rare original factory inserts: the illustrated brown glassine paper liner depicting two top-hatted gentlemen smoking, and the white "Mr. Smoker" instructional paper slip. With vibrant red and gold lithography, it makes a phenomenal museum-quality display piece for any antique country store collection, history shelf, or man cave.Condition Notes:
Excellent antique condition. The front lithograph is exceptionally clean, bold, and bright with minor edge wear and faint storage scuffs. The unpainted metal reverse features a natural dark patina and light oxidation spotting typical of early century tins. The two paper inserts are incredibly well-preserved with no major tears or brittle edges, showing only standard vintage yellowing. Hinges operate smoothly and close tightly.
