Boston, Mass - Old State House Wedgwood Vintage Plate 10 1/2" - Excellent Cond. For Sale

Rare Old State House Boston Commemorative Plate - made in England. This transferware plate measuresapproximately 10 1/2" inches across, and has a white background with blue images. The plate hasa decorative border, with a central image featuring the Old State House in Boston. The back of this platecarries the following inscription: "Old State House, Boston -- East End Re-Built 1712", as well as the manufacturer's marks: "Wedgwood - Etruria, England -- Sole Importers - Jones, McDuffee & Stratton - Boston". The Wedgwood impression/incision is also present.

This plate is in extremely good condition - No chips, cracks, stains, repairs or marks anywhere on this item.Some minor, light crazing in the clear coat glaze is present, which is typical of antique china - however, it is barely visible and most people would never notice it.Any reflection, distortion or shadow in the photos is the result of camera and lighting issues.Please view pictures for additional information regarding condition and design, and feel free to contact me with any questions you may have - I will gladly provide additional information or additional photos.
