This fuselage piece was once part of a British Airways Boeing 747 registration G-CIVO that was scrapped at Cotswold Airport.
This fuselage piece originally had the angle of attack sensor within it. This was removed when the aircraft was scrapped a piece of appropriate blue coloured perspex added to cover the hole. The BA 747 fleet all had a metal blank above the sensor (as opposed to a perspex window) which can be seen in photos of the aircraft online. This metal blank has been retained and also mirror polished.
