VINTAGE 1959 BRUSH-McCOY CLOWN COOKIE JAR (W22) - AS-IS / REPAIR PROJECT
Selling a vintage 1959 Brush-McCoy ceramic clown cookie jar (Model W22). This piece retains bright paint and makes a wonderful shelf filler, but it has severe structural flaws. It is being sold strictly AS-IS for ceramic restoration or display only.
DETAILED CONDITION REPORT:
BASE: A large, deep crack runs down the back of the base. It penetrates completely through the ceramic wall to the interior.
LID INNER RIM: A small piece/fragment on the unpainted bottom side of the lid rim is loose and structurally separating.
LID EXTERIOR: Notable chunk/chip missing from the lower rim of the yellow cone hat.
GLAZE: Heavy vintage crazing lines throughout the interior and exterior glaze surface. Please review all close-up photos carefully as they serve as the primary description of the item's condition. The jar is NOT structurally sound for food use or heavy handling.
