Description:
A unique piece of intelligence history that is just as impressive in a display case as it is behind a bar.
This handsome Office of Strategic Services whiskey / rocks glass features a prominent OSS-inspired emblem with the historic gold spearhead set against a black background and the inscription:
GLORIOSUS AMATEURS
1942–1945
The OSS was America\'s legendary World War II intelligence and special operations organization, conducting espionage, intelligence collection, sabotage, unconventional warfare, and support to resistance forces around the world.
This is not typical souvenir barware. It is not available through public retail channels, making it an unusual and highly collectible OSS item.
The dimensional emblem and heavy glass construction give it an impressive presentation and make it an excellent addition to:
- OSS collections
- WWII intelligence collections
- Espionage memorabilia displays
- Military and special operations collections
- Intelligence-themed offices or bars
- National security memorabilia collections
It also makes an outstanding gift for a military, intelligence, special operations, or history enthusiast.
