General Franz Sigel Colonel of the 30th Missouri Volunteers, was instrumental in the Battle of Pea Ridge, Arkansas and promoted to brigadier general. In early 1863 Sigel commanded the11th & 12th Army Corps . An original Grand Reserve Division General Order issued at HQ Stafford Court House, January 10th, 1863 announcing that by orders received from the Army of The Potomac , \"I hereby assume command of the Grand Review Division , consisting of the 11th and 12th Corps, with General Staehl taking command of the 11th Corp.
