CIVIL WAR VETERAN GAR LANTERN SLIDES LINCOLN WILDERNESS BATTLEFIELD CIRCA 1890s For Sale

An Original Group of 8 Glassplate Lantern Slide images showing scenes from Abraham Lincoln\'s life, The Wilderness Battlefield 1865 burial of the dead (a famous image no label), New Orleans City Hall where the City was surrendered to Farragut in 1862, and the Garfield Monument Cleveland, Ohio. Each slide is circa 1880s and 7 with original labels. 6 are real photo images, 2 are color etchings. Each image is approx 4 x 3.25\". All have intact glass, the edge paper seams are worn but complete, all have the Lantern Slide makers labels. I obtained these with some GAR badges in Sturbridge Massachusetts years ago and presume the owner was a Civil War veteran who gave talks with the slides at veteran meetings. The group
