A lively Edwardian-era photochrome postcard showing the rugged rocky shoreline at Cape Elizabeth, Maine, 'In Front of Cape Casino,' crowded with visitors in period dress — ladies in long skirts and wide-brim hats, gentlemen in dark coats — with a domed gazebo on the hillside and the sea beyond. Published by Hugh C. Leighton Co. of Portland, Maine (printed in Germany, No. 2344), this undivided-back card was postmarked Portland, ME on August 6, 1907, franked with a 1-cent Jamestown Commemorative Series 1907 stamp.

Good used condition for its age. The colorful photochrome image is clear and intact; the message is written on the image face (standard for undivided-back cards); light age toning and minor foxing throughout; corners appear intact with typical light postal wear.
