Description: For sale is a CDV portrait of a handsome older gentleman. He sports a gray beard and holds his hat in one hand and a walking cane in the other. He suit jacket is very large and goes all the way down to his knees. There is no photographer's backmark with this CDV, but it does include a revenue stamp, which dates this photo's creation to between 1864 and 1866.
Condition: Fair. There is noticeable spotting on the image, most likely a chemical reaction between the glue and the albumen print. Image is stable, however, and displays nicely. Interesting content.
