Up for sale is a wonderful piece of 1980s nostalgia! This is a beautifully completed, vintage hand-painted hobbyist ceramic figurine depicting a classic sad hobo clown (styled after the iconic Emmett Kelly "Weary Willie" character).
This piece was crafted from a commercial slip-cast mold, meticulously detailed by hand, and fired in a studio kiln. It features a great level of character detail, from his textured coat and bright blue shoes to his expressive face and signature tilted hat.
Details & Dimensions:
Year: 1980 (Inscribed on the bottom)
Signature: Hand-signed "Chek '80" on the interior hollow base.
