Chinese Cloisonne Enamel Vases Blossoms/Bluebirds w/Stands/Presentation Box 11" For Sale

Presenting this pair of matching Chinese cloisonne enamel vases in breathtaking colors of blossoms and bluebirds. The colors are brilliant and vivid and the condition is pristine. Each vase weighs 2 lbs 3 oz, is 11" tall, 8" at the widest and both rest upon custom hand carved rosewood stands. A card is included describing the cloisonne design process in 8 steps and the reverse gives a history of cloisonne making. These vases date to the period of "letting hundred flowers blossom", (according to Mao), 1955-1975. These pieces have been resting in their original presentation box for decades, with custom cut dividers to keep them safe and snug. The box is 15" x 8" and the weight of the vases in the box is about 10 lbs 8 oz. They are an exquisite example of the consummate skill of Chinese artisans!
