Circa 1825 -1850 Pressed Clear Glass Salt Dish Lyre - L.W. and D.B. Neal LE 1 For Sale

Antique Boston & Sandwich pressed clear glass salt dish from the Lyre family.
More information on this salt can be found in the book \"Pressed Glass Salt Dishes of the Lacy Period 1825 - 1850 by L.W. and D.B.\" on page 127 - LE 1 where it is ranked \'scarce\" in the rarity rating.It is about 3 1/8\" long x 2\" wide x 1 7/8\" high.One scallop is chipped on the upper rim (see picture #1 on the right upper side next to the corner scroll). The best way to photograph it was from the back (see the center of picture #7). For comparison purposes, see the opposite undamaged side in the center of picture #8. There are no other major issues. The upper rim has some in-the-making rough edges. It is slightly unlevel and has a minor wobble. The glass is crystal clear, not cloudy, stained, sick, or purple/sun. This piece displays very well.Regarding combined shipping. In most cases, several pieces can be shipped in a single box. When this occurs, I will credit the purchaser\'s account any shipping difference. In-other-words, I charge exact shipping for same time multiple purchases. I cannot issue these credits until I\'ve purchased the postage so it may take a day or two. I do this often. I have never had a discrepancy complaint. My customers are in very good hands.
