Civil War British Model 1853 Enfield Socket Bayonet.The blade face is marked but illegible. It is straight, some light edge nicks, has light pitting scattered throughout, and the entire piece has been painted gold at some point. Locking ring and screw are missing. Length of the blade measures 17 1/4\" (13/16\" wide x 9/16\" thick) and the bayonet is 20 1/4\". Socket length is 3\". Muzzle opening is 25/32\".Check out my otherWaritems!!
