The product is a vintage Corning Pyroceram Cornflower Blue 10" casserole dish with a white lid, made in the United States between 1960 and 1961. I believe this is a 2nd generation by the stamp on the bottom.
This two-piece set includes a square-shaped casserole dish and solid white lid, both made of Pyroceram ceramic material.
The casserole is compatible with electric and gas stoves, features a double handle for easy transport, and is dishwasher safe for convenience.
This original piece from the Corning brand is a collectible item that would make a unique addition to any kitchen or cookware collection.
Both the casserole and the lid show very little use. There are no chips on either piece but both have waves or circles from the factory and are not the smooth surface that is the standard.
I have heard collectors look for and liked factory imperfections as it makes the item a one of a kind and unique in it own way.
