This item has been carefully stored in a display case (inside a glass case) at my parents\' house for over 30 years.
There are some minor scuffs and scratches due to age, but there are no noticeable large scratches, cracks, or fading, and considering its age, it is in very good condition overall. Please note that the artist\'s signature on the bottom of the kokeshi doll has faded due to age, but the included stand (made by Usaburo) serves as proof of its authenticity. We hope to offer this to someone who appreciates antiques, Showa-era retro crafts, and interior design, or to a collector.
