A Vintage 1960 Currier & Ives Reproduction
Description:It is a vintage reproduction over63 years oldfromCurrier & Ives Picture History of the Civil War, published in New York by JackBrussel, 1960. A copy of the title page is included. It is a lithograph printwithcolor applied by a silk screen process giving the print a folk art quality. Along the bottom in small print isthe original publication data, stating "Published by Currier & Ives, 152 Nassau St., New York," although it is a 1960 reprint of the work. The reverse is blank. It is being sold as a single print ona heavy pageas seen in the main pic, and is not mounted, matted nor framed. Overall, a very nice print with bright color that would frame up nicely.
Size:The image area measures approximately8 by 12 1/4inches on a10 1/2by 14 1/2" page with a margin all around as seen in the pic.
Condition:The print is in Very Good to Excellent condition with light tonal age, very clean with strong vivid color. The pics are of the actual print.
