Gary L. Barnes began making knives professionally in 1975. In 1983 Gary received his Master Bladesmith's rating from the American Bladesmith Society. He's won a whole wall full of "Best of Show" & "Best Knife" awards. He loves to develop new mechanisms and techniques. Gary has developed a wide range of skills which appear on his knives. If it's engraved, carved, etched, extruded, or coined; Gary did it himself.
This beauty is overall 8-1/2” with a 4-3/8” mirror polished blade. The blade has the makers mark on both sides near the handle. The scales are embellished metal, quite possibly titanium or stainless steel. The base metal may have an overlay of nickel silver, as I have read a lot about Barnes using NS on his titanium scales. The scales fit seamlessly to the full tang blade, making an extraordinary looking custom knife. The sheath is black leather, front has basket weave with the Barnes emblem on the front.
Winner of this fine knife pays $15.00 s&h.
