Department 56 Dickens Village Series St Martin-in-the-Fields Church No CrossFeatures:
• Stock #558471 - Introduced December 2000/Retired December 2002
• From the box: "The original chapel of St. Martin-in-the-Fields was built in the 13th century overlooking open farmlands midway between London and the Abbey church of Westminster. By the end of the following century, houses surrounded it on all sides. Now located in London's West End facing Trafalgar Square, this 260-year old church is renown not only for its architecture, particularly its graceful spire, but also for giving its name to the world-famous chamber orchestra the Academy of St. Martin-in-the-Fields."
• This is a very large and stately looking church that would fit in most any village in the Department 56 Collection.
