From my father\'s collection. Dad loved collecting Department 56 but kept most pieces boxed away, so this Tower Bridge of London has spent its life in its original box and foam.
This is the Department 56 Dickens\' Village \"Tower Bridge of London,\" the 20th Anniversary Special Edition from the Historical Landmark Series, #56.58705. It was made from 2003 until it retired in 2004, in a limited edition of 20,000. It\'s a showpiece for any Dickens\' Village: two lighted porcelain towers with gold-accented spires, the blue lattice upper walkways, and a drawbridge you can raise and lower by hand. It also has the 20th Anniversary plaque and British flags. Assembled, it stretches about 26 inches long.
Condition:The pieces are still in their original plastic and foam and look clean. The original box shows wear and a small tear along the top edge. Flags are still in plastic (see photo), and the collector pin and light cords are included, and that the spires and walkways are unbroken.
Because this piece has stayed packed in its original plastic and foam all these years, I\'ve chosen not to unpack or assemble it so I don\'t risk damaging the delicate spires and walkways. Everything I can see through the plastic looks clean and intact, but I haven\'t fully inspected each piece or counted every small part, so please see the photos. The original box shows wear and a small tear along the top edge.
Packed carefully and shipped fast. Thanks for giving a piece of Dad\'s collection a new home!
