Hope there are some serious PLAY MONEY collectors out there cause we have a serious collection. Over the next few days, I will be listing a large number of these cartoon character LUCKY BUCKS PLAY MONEY.
These are two duplicates from my larger Disney collection that is listed.
Mickey with an early character Isobel the chickens and Mickey playing the piano.
These were cut out of the newspaper in the 1930s and have survived all this time! They are from the newspaper, and the backside of them has also got the “funnies” on them. When possible and when Photo count allows, I will capture the backside as well. They are now protected in clear packaged sleeves.
The majority of these are approximately 4 1/2 inches long and 2 inches wide. There are a few that are smaller, and a few that are larger. I will try to note those.
In no way do I/We profess to be experts in any field. We are documenting things as we see them and what we know of them. At times, internet searches, Google Lens, etc. have assisted us in choosing the verbiage for the description. If you feel we are way off in our descriptions or a title designation, please share your knowledge with us.
Photographs taken of item often are shown enlarged, but we try to document the article at its best and the photos are to be utilized as part of the description. Photos are authentic, not AI or stock photos. If you wish additional photos of a certain item or angle, please ask and we can send through messages.
Local pick up is always an option but if shipping is required, then Items will be protected, packaged and shipped via USPS Ground Advantage Shipping Service with tracking. (We apologize in advance for the cost of shipping. I tried in the beginning to save costs and ship via First Class Mail with stamps on some things but too many people 'claimed' to have never received the item and insisted on a refund of the full amount paid. A few bad apples spoil it for all...).
International Shipping through International shipping Hub only.
REASONABLE offers are always entertained, we may counter if we feel you were undervaluing the item. Combine shipping is always a possibility and a way for you to save some on shipping and handling charges.
Most items are from Estate finds from relatives. Our 'retirement' job is to diminish some of the things in our home of 50 years (before the kids rent a dumpster !). Many generations before us have contributed to our collection and it's time to thin out what we have. That being said, these treasures are too good to throw away and likely not without value so we list them in hopes that someone else has a love for them and will provide a new home. They come from a smoke free but not pet free home. Thanks for looking!
