Nice portraits of GENERAL EMILIO AGUINALDO (before he became president) and DON BASILIO AUGUSTIN! This has an editorial cartoon of the German Kaiser being too late to the Philippines… There are, of course, many other interesting features here… including a piece on the Philippines entitled “The Philippine Islands and Their People” with photos included. There is a MAP OF THE HARBOR OF SANTIAGO DE CUBA… a CALENDAR OF THE SPANISH-AMERICAN WAR… This is a wonderful time capsule. It is in fine condition with typical vintage corner and edge wear. A bit of foxing on the left side of the cover.THE GREATEST FLAW IS SOME SURFACE RIPPLING OFAREAS OF THE PAGES...It's not mint, but otherwise fairly gently read and a tough find!
