New, Considered “Open box” but box is still secured as it was when manufactured (see below). As far as we can tell, this item was not wrapped in clear shrink wrap when it hit the market back in the 1990’s.

Calling all collectors! You NEVER see this set! Super Extremely Rare! This is a discontinued item, brand new in original box with original price tag. Box has open sides and is in amazing condition considering its’ age (couple of small scuffs, fold marks, and one bent corner). We were able to carefully remove items from the box in order to inspect and photograph them without disturbing the seal on upper interior cardboard. Still has original tissue paper. Items have never been used and show no signs of wear or age. Brilliant colors, no fading, no chips or cracks. According to Bodum Customer Support, these were manufactured in the 1990’s until the early 2000’s. They were discontinued decades ago and are now extremely rare. Bodum Company was founded in Denmark, headquarters are now in Switzerland. Items are manufactured in Portugal as well as other countries like China, Germany, and Poland. Bodum Company states that these are indeed extremely rare and this particular set is in great condition. There you go…..straight from the horse’s mouth. Get them while you can!
