I thought this was an ashtray because it has the grooves around the top to hold your cigarette but the computer is saying it\'s a candy or trinket dish.  It is unused, still has original sticker that is marked, \" Hofbauer Collection, Made in Germany, Echt Bleikristall, over 24% Lead Crystal, Cristal Au Plomb\"  it measures almost 5 inches across the top and is 2 inches high. It is a beautiful, heavy glass with a ruby red bottom and a rose motif.
