Vintage Erik Nording Partially Rusticated Freehand Estate Pipe – Made in Denmark
A distinctive vintage Nørding Danish freehand estate pipe featuring an unusual elongated profile, organic shaping, and contrasting finishes associated with classic Danish pipe design.
The briar combines deep, rugged rustication with smooth reddish-brown panels that showcase attractive natural grain. The textured rim, sweeping bent profile, and distinctive extended, ringed stem connection give this pipe considerable character and a sculptural appearance from virtually every angle.
At approximately 6¾ inches long while weighing only 1.783 ounces, this is an impressively long yet relatively lightweight pipe.
The pipe is stamped NORDING / MADE IN DENMARK, and the black stem bears the Nording “N” logo.
This is a previously smoked estate pipe that has been cleaned and prepared for its next owner. The chamber shows normal evidence of previous smoking. The stem displays light tooth chatter and minor surface wear near the button, clearly shown in the close-up photographs. The nomenclature remains visible.
