Extremely Rare Bulldog Brand Congress Twelve Blade Pocket Knife Made in Solingen For Sale

This remarkable Bulldog Brand Congress multi-blade pocket knife is an exceptionally rare collector’s piece. Produced in Solingen, Germany — a city world-renowned for its knife-making tradition — this knife was part of a very limited run.

I was fortunate to acquire this knife from a private collection where it had been displayed for many years. It is a truly impressive example of traditional craftsmanship featuring genuine Stag handles and twelve hand hammer-forged stainless steel blades.

The knife includes a large sheepsfoot blade with a beautiful frost-etched “Bulldog Brand” logo, along with a variety of useful blade patterns including two wharncliffe blades, three clip point blades, two pen blades, a spey blade, a large spear point blade, a coping blade, and a cuticle blade.

Every blade is tang stamped with the Bulldog Brand logo and “HAND MADE.” The knife features brass liners, nickel silver bolsters, and nickel silver handle pins. All blades open and close smoothly with strong snap.

Condition:

The knife was displayed in a case that appears to have had some humidity exposure, which resulted in visible surface rust on some blades. The rust appears to be removable and has not been aggressively cleaned so the next owner can choose how they would like to preserve or restore the knife. Aside from this, the knife remains in very nice condition and retains excellent collector appeal.
