An extremely rare piece of memorabilia from Kate Bush's 1979 tour.
Later referred to as "The Tour of Life", the show consisted of 24 performances featuring songs from Bush's first two albums, The Kick Inside (1978) and Lionheart (1978), lasting just over six weeks across the UK and Europe. The show was met with overwhelming critical reception, both for Bush's original performance and for its chorographical and technological innovations, including the first use by a singer of a wireless headset microphone.
This plaque in particular promoted Bush's scheduling at Usher Hall in Edinburgh on April 13 in the form of an admission ticket, marking her eleventh performance of the tour. Design features promotional image of Bush at left with admission information as used on actual tickets.
Piece measures 8" x 12" and is overall in good condition, with minor rusting/creasing as expected throughout. This is the only example available on the secondary market. A truly special and historic collector's piece for any Bush enthusiast.
