Candlestick: Manufacturer's hallmark: In the very center of the base, a round stamp with the inscription 'TOOTHILL & McBEAN SILVER CO.' is visible. At the end of the 19th century (around 1897–1899), this American company specialized precisely in the production of silver-plated tableware and interior items, most often using triple or quadruple plating technology (Quadruple Plate) over durable white metal or brass."
