Tool steel is solid, excellent, and minimally cleaned recently - it is cosmetically pleasing and devoid of any significant deterioration, with a hand honed cutter edge that’s sharp just as is; the stamp has some fading but is still easy to identify; American ash wood handle is topped off with a flawless leather strike cap.
Quite a nice early vintage Greenlee - one of the great old prewar chisels by this maker that really aren’t too easy to find anymore.
