This is the more rare Publisher's Proof with the stamp "Not for Sale". These particular copies are more valuable and highly sought after.
This sumptuous hardcover book with slipcase, featuring all 122 Disney Duck paintings created by Carl Barks, the "Good Duck Artist" responsible for many years of comic book art starring Donald, his nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie, and of course Uncle Scrooge McDuck. The book features glossy prints and fold-outs of every one of "Unca Carl's" wonderful paintings. This is the rare, long out-of-print McDuck edition with maroon slipcase and covers, these very limited Publisher Proofs are stamped "Not for Sale". A sewed-in page with gold embossed print has been hand-signed by Carl Barks (1901 - 2000). The book has been sold out for over 40 years. Condition is Mint with some slight wear on the slip case.
There is very slight shelf wear on the slipcase as pictured but I can not detect any wear on the book itself! It appears to be in mint condition!
Due to a fluke shipment issue with one my books I am taking extra steps to ensure there are no problems with my already very careful packaging! Book will be fully insured!
